A|C|C|O|R – Plasma Pen
The gentle alternative to skin tightening surgery
A treatment with the A|C|C|O|R Cosmetic Corrector is the gentle alternative to skin tightening surgery. The combination of plasma and NF+ technology, currently makes the plasma pen unique, world-wide.
Without touching the skin, the pen creates an ionised plasma arc which projects onto the skin surface. The plasma arc instantly vaporises a point of skin at the required position, thereby tightening the immediate surrounding area.
This is an especially gentle and low-pain procedure which achieves incredible, permanent results – immediately. Additionally, due to continued tightening after the treatment, we see further vast improvements. The visible and measurable results are, smoother skin around the eyes and mouth, as well as a more even complexion. This results in an over- all fresher, younger appearance – after only one treatment!
A major advantage is the rapid healing, made possible through the NF+ technology. When treated professionally, by one of our trained specialists and through adherence to the aftercare hygiene requirements, swelling and redness can be held at a minimum.
> Skin tightening: Upper and lower lids, Soft Facelift, throat and neck
> Reduction of wrinkles and uneven surfaces: e.g. perioral wrinkles, worry lines, nasolabial folds, forehead
> Reduction of unsightly pigmentation: e.g. age/sun spots, liver spots, moles
> Scar reduction/improvement
> Removal of: Skin tags/moles/warts and milia (white heads)
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments necessary to obtain the desired result depends on the type of treatment, and the size of the area treated. All follow-up treatments may only be performed 12 weeks after the initial treatment. This is due to the healing and tightening process lasting a minimum of 3 months. Further treatments, subject to charge, may be necessary before the desired effect is obtained.
Are there any side effects?
Treatments with the A|C|C|O|R Cosmetic Corrector may result in certain reactions e.g. redness and swelling. Should these symptoms persist for longer than 10 days, or should other symptoms present, please contact us, and we will be happy to help you.
The risk of hyper-pigmentation is very low but cannot be avoided. This is a normal skin reaction that usually disappears within a few months. This risk is reduced exponentially if you follow the Aftercare Instructions, avoid sun exposure, or use sun cream with the highest SPF.
What is the downtime?
Small circular scabs will appear after the treatment and they will naturally fall off on their own in 5-8 days (this may take longer for smokers). Aftercare instructions are essential for a quick healing process.
Does it hurt?
It is a low pain procedure, however we advise you to come in 30/40 mins before your treatment to have a local anaesthetic cream applied to the treatment area to allow minimal discomfort. Procedures like skin tag/mole removal may not require anaesthetic cream, but your practitioner will advice you in your consultation.
